“Empower a woman and you uplift an entire community. “
Divine Love Charitable Trust sponsors a program to empower women to discover, acknowledge, and leverage their potential. DLCT provides a solid foundation and training for the local women in the community. It serves to help them learn a trade, start a community business, and empower them to expand and sustain a thriving business.
Through DLCT subsidies and private donations, a women-owned and operated jute craft business was founded in 2024. Currently there are 10 women successfully running the business.
These women are earning a fair wage and are now, possibly for the first time in their lives, financially contributing to support their families. The greatest benefit of this women’s empowerment program is building and nurturing their confidence and expanding their capacity for growth.
